As Program Manager you will direct an that an ongoing program of therapeutic and recreational activities stimulates the physical, intellectual, spiritual, creative, recreational, social, and emotional needs and well-being of the residents residing in our Continuing Care.

How you will make an impact

• Provide an environment that promotes and supports an active, healthy, and independent lifestyle in accordance with the abilities of each resident.
• Plan, develop, evaluate, and direct the activity programs of Continuing Care.
• Adapt programming based on the level of the resident’s abilities, both physical and cognitive.
• Responsible for marketing CC programming philosophy internally and externally to residents, families, and staff.
• Supervise programming department staff members.
• Review resident assessments completed by Program Assistants / Coordinators to ensure appropriate and preference-based programming.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $70,000 annually

What you will need

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Activity/Recreation/Program Manager/Director in a geriatric setting or 4 years as a Programming Assistant or 1 year as a Program Coordinator is required.
• Education will be considered in lieu of experience. 
• May be a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant or completed a training course approved by the State.
• ADCP (Activity Director Certified Provisional) or ADC (Activity Director Certified) is required.
• CPR Certification required.
• ACC (Activity Consultant Certified), or CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) is preferred.
