Location:

We are looking for an Assistant Director of Facilities Operations with significant experience in team leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality environment in our buildings, grounds, roads, equipment, and tools, ensuring a safe and healthy space for both residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include overseeing transportation, security, communication, and facility services.

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience starting at $100,000 annually

How you will make an impact

• Ensure the community and department goals in the areas of finance, satisfaction, and engagement are met by using the system, process, and control measures.
• Management of the departments included in the scope of the job are Transportation, Security, Project management, Maintenance & Engineering, Communications, Housekeeping, and Grounds.
• Respond to emergencies at the community as required.
• Fill in for the Director of Facility Operations in their absence.
• Implement system and controls to achieve financial performance as established by the departmental budget. Assist in the budget process for both operating and capital plans.
• Ensure that requests for the purchase of assets and services are made and in accordance with Erickson Senior Living Communities Purchasing policies, procedures, and processes.
• Ensure all the required training by managers is completed and documented.

What you will need 

• Minimum of 5 years of business experience in General Services / Facilities Operations required.
• Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities
• Experience with CMMS is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and Record of Road Test (provided by Transportation) is required if operating Community vehicles and must adhere to policies and procedures of Erickson Senior Living Management.  
• Minimum 10 Hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire.
