Location:

Ann’s Choice, a 103-acre continuing care retirement community in Bucks County, PA, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Community Operations Team. As part of the larger housekeeping leadership team, this role will be focused on the daily operations of a 15-person team and lead the growth of our maid service for over 1,500 resident apartments. Responsibilities include managing an annual budget of $1 million and meeting a monthly revenue goal of $50k.

How you will make an impact:

• Assist in managing budgets for the department and explore opportunities for increasing revenue through expanded maid services, upselling services, and promoting special cleaning packages.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand our maid service offerings to residents, providing them with customized cleaning services, while growing this as an income-generating business within the retirement community.
• Prepare daily assignments and schedules to include established routine duties for housekeeping staff
• Inspect premises to determine next assignments and to ensure that trash/garbage removal meets with health, safety and sanitation regulations including receiving dock areas and community grounds
• Train new employees, assigns tasks and closely supervises until fully trained.
• Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials and equipment
• Create weekly, monthly and semi-monthly cleaning schedules for common areas of the facility

What you will need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping or other operations role
• Previous experience managing others
