Situated on 120 beautiful acres in Silver Spring, Maryland, Riderwood is the largest continuing care retirement community in the United States. We are hiring a Dietitian to join our dining team. The Clinical Dietitian plans, develops, implements, and maintains programs and systems of nutritional care for our residents.

How you will make an Impact: 

• Ensure the resident nutritional needs are met and documented to fulfill the requirements of all federal, state, and local regulations
• Plan and monitor Continuing Care Residents' nutritional programs.
• Assist in the supervision of the overall efficiency of the dining room, room service operations, and staff
• Assist in the supervision, evaluation, training, and disciplining of the dining staff
• Provide nutritional in-service education to both staff and residents

What you will need:                                                                                                                

• B.S. degree from an approved program in dietetics or nutrition
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. State licensure as required
• Experience in health care food service management and clinical nutrition preferred
• Computer practical understanding (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and ability to learn more programs
• Flexible with schedule; will be required to work weekends and holidays
